Yellow Bourbon coffee beans, known for their yellow ripe fruit, which are significantly different from the cherry-red fruits of other varieties, have become a kind of coffee jewel in Brazil. 

Sweet, mild-tasting and intricate yellow bourbon is extremely popular.

This breed appeared in 1930 in São Paulo. The origin of yellow Bourbon coffee beans is not known, but two theories exist.

The first is that the variety arose as a result of the natural cultivation of Botucatu Yellow and Red Bourbon, and the second is that it may have been a natural mutation of the Red Bourbon coffee tree.

Suitable for cooking in a scalded or pressed (French) way.
