GURMAN'S GREEK MOUNTAIN TEA herbal tea
Syringa thymsra, also known as Greek mountain tea, was used as a medicinal herbal drink by the ancient Greeks. Hippocrates, the Greek philosopher known as the father of modern medicine, claimed that the drink was beneficial for the immune and respiratory systems.
Today in Greece, mountain tea is used mainly in winter to combat colds and flu.
Ingredients: Greek Mountain Tea* (31%), nettle leaves*, lemongrass*, orange wedges* (14%), lime-tree blossom*, marigold blossom*, chamomile blossom*, natural flavouring, natural orange-flavouring, natural bergamot-flavouring with other natural flavourings. *From organic cultivation.
Preparation: 1 - 2 tea spoons; 100 ⁰C; min. 5 - 8.
Storage conditions: to preserve the tea's natural flavour and aroma, we recommend storing it in a tightly sealed box in a cool, dry place, away from strong-flavoured products.
