ABOUT COFFEE Cafetto coffee machine milk system cleaner, 1 L 

Cafetto® MFC® Blue Universal Alkaline Milk System Cleaner is formulated to effectively remove milk fats and build-up without leaving a trace of detergent odour. "Cafetto® MFC® Blue kills 99.999% of the bacteria present in the milk system. NSF certification ensures that Cafetto® MFC® Blue meets the highest standards of protection against toxicity and corrosivity, does not leave harmful residues, does not corrode the coffee machine, and does not cause damage to machine parts or people.

Cleaning instructions for the milk system of automatic coffee machines:

1. Take the MFC® Blue bottle and make sure the white cap is tightly closed. Loosen the blue cap slightly and squeeze the bottle gently to fill the container under the blue cap. When this upper container contains 25 ml of liquid (for large coffee machines use 50 ml of liquid), remove the blue cap and drain the liquid;

2. Pour 25 ml of MFC Blue Cleaner and 500 ml of warm water into a separate cleaning container (for large coffee machines use 50 ml of liquid and 1 l of water), replace the blue bottle cap and screw it on tightly;

3. Insert the milk system hose into the prepared solution and start the milk system cleaning programme;

4. When the milk system cleaning programme has finished, add 500 ml of clean water at room temperature to the container (for large coffee machines use 1 l of water) and replace the hose. Repeat the process.

Note: Do not mix with other chemicals.  

Cleaning instructions for the Picher rinser:

1. Take the MFC® Blue bottle and make sure the white cap is tightly closed. Loosen the blue cap slightly and squeeze the bottle gently to fill the container under the blue cap. When this upper container contains 50 ml of liquid, remove the blue cap and empty the liquid;

2. Disassemble the jug rinser and soak the parts in the solution for 5 minutes. Add 50ml of MFC Blue Cleaner and 1 litre of warm water to a separate container for cleaning, replace the blue bottle cap and screw tightly;

3. Wipe the surface with a cloth soaked in the solution;

4. Pour the rest of the solution onto the surface;

5. Rinse all parts with tap water and reassemble the rinser;  

How to clean the steam pipe:

1. Take the MFC® Blue bottle and make sure the white cap is tightly closed. Loosen the blue cap slightly and squeeze the bottle to fill the container under the blue cap. When this upper container contains 50 ml of liquid, remove the blue cap and empty the liquid;

2. Add 50ml of MFC Blue cleaner and 500ml of warm water to a separate cleaning container, replace the blue cap and screw tight;

3. Place the steam tube in the cleaning container and leave for 10-15 minutes;

4. Clean the steam tube.
